Sleeping Slipping away

Subject to correction I believe that the happiest time of all of our day is the moment we go to sleep. The moment you lay your head in anticipation for a peaceful rest, your soul calm your spirit free then BOOM okay "BOOM" is a tad bit loud, maybe more like ZOOM you're off and away, uya"zoom"eka (spelt zumeka meaning falling asleep, direct translation: caught by surprise / off guard) in Zulu).t's when we are most vulnerable and though you know you are sleepy nothing warns you of the moment that you fade off into unconsciousness.

It's a field of stellar roles and displays on the other end. You are Angelina Jolie and find yourself in Oscar performance in acting roles and unlike Angelina you don't exactly choose your role, it just gets allocated to you. Your fate lies solely on the Casting Agency, your imagination...

I think its great (though somewhat scary) that there are some elements of life we have no control over I think it keeps us modest and open to the any possibility the universe will allow. It's hard to do that when we are conscious we spend too much time second guessing ourselves. I believe the forced rest (sick leave) is a way of the universe to show me (while doing a victory march of course) that God is still in control, and triumphant.

I spend my forced leave days sleeping and slipping into my many starrring roles, once as a rich lady driving down Hollywood in my Maybach other times crying in despair at a loss of something or the other, I seem to be experience sone form of pain, anguish and despair. Sometimes I wake up and can't remember a thing but I somehow know I've been busy, is it perhaps that I was having an affair with a mysterious man, maybe I was presented with my deepest fears? Who knows?

It wouldn't hurt us if once in a while we took a minute to submerge into the unknown, take uncalculated steps with the faith that in the end it will all work out. How many times have I taken risks that failed and thought I could never get past those mistakes, but here I am, a classic example of the hereafter. That mistake no longer seems so big, I am no longer that hurt and when I thought that I just could not face another day, let the ground open and swallow me up right now .... and yet here I am, questionably stronger but wiser from the experience, no doubt.

Someone pulled me through whether you believe in God or a Higher Power something saved me. You too can allow yourself to be caught off guard by a powerful force of nature. Who knows? It will take you through the whirlwind but fear not. It will land you where you (my well read one )are destined to be, the land of cotton candy.
