The Embarrassment

I was sitting at a restaurant having brunch with my kids when a lady approached me out of the blue to sell me some of her products. I found it strange how this lady stood in the middle of the food court and suddenly laid her eyes on me as her first target to offer me a latest intervention in weight loss. I was shocked and embarrassed, why ME? Am I that obvious amongst a crowd of people? To make it worse the people in the tables around me stopped to watch as this lady loudly explained about this amazing weight loss pill. I cant recall how the pill works because at that time I was not listening at all and concentrated on the floor to open and swallow me, and as she finally handed me the brochure I politely declined and asked her why she assumed I might be in need of this, I then asked her to leave and I saw the embarrassment transferring from me to her pale face. In that moment I realise that I was hurt and retaliated as a result, I also remembered how much more I want to be on the other side of this hurdle and not the fattest woman in a room. I am watching what I eat, its not easy for now its baby steps...

  1. Planning a weight loss program may seem simple-reducing food intake such as calories and exercising more often. But if such is difficult to attain, taking some weight loss pills may help as long as one must consult first with the physician.
