One day at a time, right? Well the day started and ended well, I had the usual Special K breakfast; the plain yorghurt and fruit for for midday snack special K again for lunch and Tuna salad for supper. I also had my killer taste herbal tea and a litre of water in between :-) ! I can do this but eventually it will require pre planning my meals so that I don't miss meals or starve myself. It's a fine line between eating enough to keep the size of my body nourished enough to face the day or actually overeating.
I was watching Oprah this afternoon and she said something that stuck to me. She said loosing weight and eating healthily is not about starvation and being deprived and generally being cruel and mean to yourself but rather a gentle way of being kind and loving to your body so that it can function better. I say it's a short term insurance for long term durability...I just have to be disciplined enough to keep up with the installments.
