Though not proven scientifically there is something drastically wrong with Mondays! The worst experiences I have had in my 29 years of life have happened on Mondays and strangely enough for other people as well. Mondays are when my husband has to leave home for Jhb at 3 am; Mondays are when I am always late for work for absolutely no reason except ofcourse that it is Monday ; Mondays are when I forget to have breakfat have meetings back to back till I am so hungry I end up overeating; Mondays are when I am so used to the gym rest weekend that going an inch near a treadmill is like climbing Mount something; Mondays are most likely days where I question my career path, my overall goals and why I am still studying? Don't I earn enough anyway? Mondays are when I forget about all my friends; Mondays are when I am most likely to be forgetful about critical things; most likely to be dipressed and most likely to find someone who will piss me off or most likely to receive bad service from a sales consultant. This Monday I was experiencing all the above and the worst case scenario was waking up to flu like symptoms IN THE MIDDLE OF SPRING NOGAL- now what are the chances of that except on the dawn of a misery Monday. But today I also feel greatful to be alive, to be able to speak hear taste touch and walk for my health and well being, if you think about it, things could be much worse than they are. As you can gather Mondays are the worst day of the week for me but they are also days where I get to find ways to make it go faster, this is achieved by taking stock of all my blessings. I then realize that all things being equal I am damn lucky to be where I am in my life, I would not trade my life with anyone else. That's the truth spoken on a Monday... Now when will this day end?

I feel you I often suffer from the Monday Blues myself!
