So you want the secret to weightloss? Guess what there isn't. I too am a lazy looser, but I am a looser none the less. I have been doing this on my own no gym partner or trainer for motivation. Just me me and me and the bare white walls of the workshop room I turned into the home gym. What I am on, is not just another diet and exercise program though. It is a way of changing my lifestyle to allow me to become fitter and healthier .....and often what has followed on weeks where I do seriously workout is extreme weight loss and body fat reduction. The body listens, your current body image is the direct reflection of your lifestyle. I used to hate hearing or reading this but indeed....you are what you eat.
Knowing this has made me more aware of what I consume, how much I exercise and I have started to testify that...Losing weight is a simple process...yes simple!!
So many think there is a secret plan or medication I am on, but NO! If you eat too much and do not burn off the excess in daily activity..then you gain weight. There is no magical mystery, too much intake and not enough output = fat storage.
Imagine your weight to be a set of old fashioned scales, use your hands to be the scales. Your right hand holds all the food you consume in a day and your left hand holds all the energy you burn in a day from activity. If your food intake is too much and your daily activity is too slow then you will find your right hand slowly dropping towards the floor and your left hand heading for the sky...in short you are gaining weight.
To easily change this around...take a little out of the right hand, for instance take one thing out of your diet that's unhealthy. Don't make drastic dietary changes, like the soup diet or the Atkins diet..just take out one thing that you know causes you to gain weight. Then on the left side add one thing, it may be adding 15 mins to your 30 minutes morning walk, it may be walking to work. By doing this something has left the right hand and something has been added to the left, so it stands to reason that the balancing process has started.
I use this simple formula to improve my fitness levels and initiate weightloss. I have been working harder towards my 10 km training and I know this will pay out in tons.
